Thanks to a day of rest on Monday after the Mid-Summer Classic Softball Tournament and inclement weather on Wednesday night, only 6 games were played last week in action taking place at the Robin Road Sports Complex.
Tuesday night, Deprators Beverage took care of Tubby’s Tavern 18-5 and St. Marys Insurance dispatched Wildwoods 22-2.
Leading Deprators (8-5) was Alec Wehler and Zack Zameroski, who both hit a homerun. Zameroski, Nate Dezanet and Brady Schneider all added a double to help the cause.
Jamer Cooney was 2 for 2 to lead Tubby’s (6-8). Saul Solveson added a double.
Leading the way for SMI (10-3) got homeruns from Kenny Vogt, Jake Cortina, and Kurt Eckert. Vogt, Eckert and Keil Nissel all knocked in 4 runs each.
Thursday night had Carlson Technologies getting the best of Tubby’s Tavern 19-4 and St. Marys Insurance again winning big, topping Deprators Beverage 33-10.
Mike Miraglia led CTI (8-5) with a 3 for 3 performance that included a homerun and 4 RBI. John Ackley also went 3 for 3 and Justin Saline, Ben Vogt and Mick Vogt all added doubles.
Cooney was again 2 for 2 to lead Tubby’s. Garrett Hornung, Bobby Jack and Matt Kriner all added 2 for 3 nights for the Tavern boys.
Alec Wehler homered, Eric Gerber, Dezanet and Sam Gregory all doubled in the losing effort for Deprators.
Jake Cortina homered twice and knocked in 6 runs to lead SMI. Eric Bush was 5 for 5 and Kenny Vogt added a dinger for the winners.
And to round out the week Elk County Tool & Die knocked off Wildwoods 19-6 and Tyler Landscape turned back Dino’s Place 25-6.
Rudy Gleixner and Kyler Lenox both homered to keep ECTD undefeated. Gleixner, Lenox and Nick Reuscher all finished with 3 RBI’s.
Dalton Bauer led Tyler (5-8) going 2 for 5 with a pair of homeruns and 10 RBI’s. Nick Reed added an inside-the-park homer and Al Schneider and Tyler Daniels doubled twice.
For Dino’s Place (2-12), Matt Dush was 4 for 4 and Isaac Schlimm and Connor Bressler were both 3 for 3 in a losing effort.
