Cavalier Roofing won a high scoring affair Tuesday night, upsetting Deprators Beverage 29-28 in the late game in St. Marys Mens League Softball action at the Robin Road Sports Complex.
Cavalier (4-5) was led by Logan Bauer’s 4 for 5 evening that included a pair of homeruns and 6 RBI’s. Cole Myers also went 4 for 5 with a pair of doubles. Rich Filer added a double and a triple and knocked in 4 runs.
For Deprators (6-6), Dalton Bauer homered and doubled, Alec Wehler was 4 for 5 with a pair of doubles and Tyler Wehler was 4 for 5 with a double and a triple.
In the early game Tuesday, St. Marys Insurance improved to 8-2 with a 22-4 win over Gerg Tool & Die (1-10). With the win, SMI took over first place in the league standing, just ahead of Allegheny Coatings (9-3) and Elk County Tool & Die (7-3).
Jeremy Williams led SMI at the dish, going 4 for 5. Eric Bush was 3 for 4 with 4 RBI’s and Tony Chiodo also chipped in a 3 for 4 night, knocking in 3 runs.
Monday night saw Allegheny Coatings defeat Dino’s Place 17-6 and Keystone Rural Health knock off Elk County Tool & Die 18-6.
The Goats got a pair of homeruns and 6 RBI’s from Derek Meyer to lead the way. Justin Quiggle added a homerun. Providing the offense with doubles were Ryan Grimm (2), Rich Quiggle and Kevin Hoy.
For Dino’s (0-9), Alex Vollmer hit a three run dinger to lead the offense. Bryce Walker and Connor Bullers both added an RBI single.
Mike Miraglia led Keystone at the plate with a perfect 4 for 4 night that included 2 homeruns and 6 RBI’s. Eric Herzing also went 4 for 4 with a double and pair of runs batted in. Steve Simchick added a three run blast for the winners.
Kyler Lenox led ECTD, going 2 for 2. Kyle Williams and Nate Schneider both added doubles.
In action on Wednesday night, Allegheny Coatings beat Keystone Rural Health 22-10 and Elk County Tool & Die got past Deprators Beverage 18-12.
Justin Quiggle led the Goats this time around, belting a pair homeruns as part of a 3 for 4 night, knocking in 5 RBI’s. Derek Meyer was 4 for 5 with a homerun and 5 RBI. Kevin Hoy added a homerun as well. Cole Peterson also tripled for the winners.
Steve Simchick hit another 3-run homer for Keystone in the losing effort, finishing with 4 RBI. Eric Herzing and Mick Vogt both went 3 for 4.
ECTD was led by Brandon Sicheri’s 4 for 5 evening. Tyler Donachy added a homerun and a double for the winners.
Jordan Weinzierl hit a homerun and a triple to lead Deprators. Matt Bellina and Bryce O’Leary both added doubles for the Beveragemen.
