Walk offs were the theme of the night Tuesday, with Allegheny Coatings and Tyler Landscape both coming from to win in the home half of the seventh inning in St. Marys Men’s Softball League action at the Robin Road Softball Complex.
Jake Geer’s bases loaded single in for the Allegheny Coatings Goats scored Hank Cappiello to give the Goats the 8-7 win over Carlson Technologies (4-6).
Ricky Pearsall led the Goats (8-2), going 2 for 3 with 2 RBI’s. Kevin Hoy also had 2 RBI’s and a double. Cole Peterson and Justin Quiggle also doubled for the winners.
For CTI, Mike Miraglia hit a 2-run homer and Travis Menteer smacked a 2 run single in the losing effort.

Tyler Landscape got a walk off single of their own from Dalton Bauer, scoring Josh Pollino with the winning in the seventh of their game with Eckert Technical Services. The final was 12-11.

Andy Eck and Tyler “Hammer” Daniels both hit homeruns for Tyler (6-2). Bauer added a triple and Jordan Weinzierl a double.
ETS (4-5) was led by Nick Reuscher’s 3-run homerun. Tyler Donachy and Bryan Hansen both finished 4 for 4 at the dish. Donachy also had 3 RBI’s.
Carlson Technologies got out the big bats Monday night, hitting four homeruns in a 22-13 win over N&S Contractors (1-8). Mike Miraglia led the charge, hitting two homeruns, knocking in seven runs while going 3 for 5 at the plate.
Steve Simchick (3 for 4) and Brandon Tyger (3 for 5) had the other homeruns for Carlson’s. Eric Herzing was 4 for 5 with a double. Simchick and Brett Herzing added doubles and Alex Datolli tripled for the winners.
For N&S, TJ Gornati was 3 for 3 with two homeruns and scored three times. Al Schneider added a homerun and Jamie Neubert pitched in a double.
In the nightcap, runs were plenty for both teams, with a total of 58 being scored. After the dust settled, the Buttonwood/East End Beverage Honkey Spuds (3-5) beat Deprators Beverage 31-27.
Zach Austin led the offensive attack, going 5 for 6, bashing two homeruns, a triple and knocked in seven runs.
Ryan Breslin and Bobby Jack each added a dinger for the Spuds. Breslin, Garrett Hornung and Ken Meyer all tripled and Dustin Geist and Nate Ball each doubled for the winners.
Tyler Wehler led Deprator’s (1-9), going 5 for 6 with a pair of doubles. Brennen Klahuwn was 4 for 5 and Alec Wehler added a double in the losing effort.
